NICKEL NINE STEPS
Express your interest in joining or request more information by emailing referrals@nickel.org.uk or completing the ‘contact us’ form on the website.
Our management team will contact you, invite you to visit us and say ‘hi’. We will show you around and tell you about our service and what we can offer you.
Next you will need to speak to your local authority and find out if you can receive funding to access our service. If you are not sure, please do ask us for more information. We’re happy to help!
You’ll then be invited to an individual taster session and we will agree the length of the session with you.
If you decide you want a taster session you will need to complete a ‘Trainee Referral Form’.
If after your taster session you want to join and you have the funding agreed, let us know and we will help you with the process.
Once funding has been agreed, we will set a start date and send you the forms to complete before you can start.

REVIEW - It is important you have regular reviews to make sure we are offering you the right support. The local authority, along with any parent or carer you would like to come along will usually be involved.
